Address resolve returns coordinates and a classification code for each premise match

Premise matches from address resolve carry an Ordnance Survey classification code, and their position when you ask for it, so one call returns the UPRN, address, point and use.

Added

  • classificationCode on premise matches from POST /v1/address/resolve: the Ordnance Survey classification code of the matched premise, such as RD06. Codes beginning R are residential and codes beginning C are commercial. It comes back whenever the matched address record carries one, with no option to set.
  • options.includeCoordinates, off by default. Set it to true and each premise match carries coordinates, the premise's position as lat and lng in WGS84 decimal degrees, so one call returns the UPRN, the address, its position and its use with no second lookup per match.
  • Neither field appears on a match with no premise record behind it, such as a postcode-level fallback, and street-level matches keep their existing location.
  • A request that sets includeCoordinates returns full address records, so every match in its response is charged at the address record rate rather than the match rate. A request without it is charged at the match rate, which is why the option is off by default.
